Information

  • In this module, the module variant data of a selected module can be checked and possibly changed.

Details

  • After you have opened the module, you have to select the module the module variant of which is to be checked from the listbox.
    • The listbox only displays modules which contain module variants.
  • For the selected module, all existing variants are displayed per user.
    • If the User field is empty, this means that the module variants displayed below are standard module variants.
  • By extending the tree structure on the required module variant, all data areas and data fields which have settings that deviate from the basic variant are listed. This setting can be seen in the Settings field by specifying the parameter (DI number) and the respective value.
    • By right-clicking and selecting the context menu command Show data items, the complete information on the entered data items can be called up.
    • The Settings field is available at every module level (module, data area, data field) of the module variant, so that they only contain the parameters of the respective level.

Example

  • In the Short Version module variant of the Schedule module, the following setting is entered for the Task locked field: DI001992=32;DI001995=9.
    • Means: The Task locked field has Pos. = 32 in the Short Version module variant and is located in window = 9.
    • For comparison: The setting in the base variant is: DI001992=22;DI001995=2
  • The setting of the module variant parameter can be changed if necessary. Please note that changes should only be made if you have the necessary specialist knowledge and fully understand the special features of the module variant functionality.
