Where can I create portfolios?

Via the New Portfolio button in the Portfolios module. Open the module via the Multi-Portfolio Board entry in the user menu of the Portfolio manager role.

Who is allowed to create new portfolios?

Create Portfolio

Procedure

• Click on the New portfolio button in the Portfolios module. The Portfolio Core Data module is opened, in which you can record basic portfolio data. The ID for the new portfolio will be generated automatically and will immediately be visible in the module header.
• Enter the Portfolio name for the new project in the field in the module header next to the ID. Here, the Please enter name dialog will be displayed by default.
• Define the manager of the portfolio in the Portfolio manager field.
  • Upon creation of the portfolio, the user who has created the new portfolio will automatically be entered as manager.
• Save.

Details

• Optionally, further settings can be made upon creation of a portfolio.
  • Describe the portfolio in the Description field.
  • Assign an image to the portfolio via the Add/change image button.
  • Define portfolio stakeholder.
  • Define which cost type groups are relevant for the portfolio.
    
    • By default, all cost type groups are activated.
  • Assign a quality gate template to the portfolio.
