Access

Information

  • This administration module serves
    • to import a project structure for the selected project from an external system (currently SAP) via PLANTA link and possibly edit it, or
    • to manually create an SAP project structure or another alternative project structure or
    • to create account assignment elements and link them to SAP elements in order for the costs summarized to account assignment elements to be displayed on SAP WBS elements.

Details

  • The SAP project structure created or imported here (or an alternative structure) can be linked to the PLANTA project structure in the SAP-WBS or Schedule user modules in order to
    • either export the effort and costs planned in PLANTA project to the SAP system in line with the SAP project structure
    • or, in case costs and effort have been imported from the SAP system, to compare them to PLANTA effort/costs.

Note

  • Usually, the SAP WBS structure is imported to PLANTA including the already assigned account assignment elements.
  • The account assignment elements are required since they serve to import and export costs/effort and budgets from SAP to PLANTA project and vice versa.
  • ID of the account assignment elements equates to the ID of the cost type or cost center from which the costs or effort stem. If no account assignment elements exist on costs/effort, it is not summarized to the SAP WBS elements accordingly.
