Access

• Project panel → Info Board → Cost Trend Analysis link in the Cost Trend area → Opportunity Trend Analysis
• Project (Proposal) → Risks/opportunities → Opportunity Trend Analysis link in the Opportunities → Opportunity Trend Analysis area
• Project (Proposal, Program) panel → Further... → Risk Trend Analysis link (will be displayed if at least one status report exists)

Information

• In the Opportunity Trend Analysis module,
  • the trend of the monetary gross profit resulting from the project opportunities is displayed graphically based on the project status reports.
  • both current gross profit data and gross profit data from the status reports is displayed in table form and can be compared.
    • Here, only status reports are displayed and analyzed which contain risk data and for which the Cost trend analysis checkbox is activated in the Configure Trend Analysis module.

Details

• The graphics contain three graphs: one each for possible, probable, and actual gross profit.
  • Every profile has its own color. The meaning of each color is explained in the legend below the graphic.
• In tabular view, the reports are displayed below the active baseline sorted by report date in descending order.

Note on structured projects

• Only the opportunity trend analysis for the project level of the selected project is displayed, i.e. either the opportunity trend analysis of the main project or that of the respective subproject.
