If no cost centers exist yet, click on the Insert button.
If there are existing cost centers, activate the required cost center and click on the Insert button or select the Insert → Cost Center context menu command by right-clicking.
If a cost center structure already exists, you can insert new cost center records precisely at the required position in the structure, see the procedure above.
If no structure exists yet, newly created cost center records can be indented and outdented via Drag&Drop moving.
When structuring via Drag&Drop moving, the parent cost centerwill be entered automatically. The column for the parent cost center is hidden by default and can be unhidden on the column header line via the context menu.
You can also enter or change the parent cost center manually for each cost center record and thus define the position of the required cost center within the structure. This cost center structuring procedure presents an alternative to Drag&Drop moving.
