Access

  • Project panel → Info Board → Click on the Effort trend analysis link in the Effort Trend area → Effort Trend Analysis
  • Project (Proposal) panel → Further... → Link Effort Trend Analysis (is only displayed if the project/proposal already contains effort)

Information

  • In this module, the effort trend of the current project is displayed on the basis of status reports.
    • The status reports used for effort trend analysis that are displayed in this module must have been selected in the Configure Trend Analysis module beforehand.

Details

  • In the left window
    • In the left window, header data of the current project and the current effort data is displayed.
    • Below the blue bar, header and effort data of all status reports of the project activated for the trend analysis is displayed.
    • The reports are sorted by report date in descending order.
  • In the right window, the projected effort data per month is displayed below the time scale.
  • At the bottom of the right window in the Trend Analysis area, the status report data will be represented graphically.
    • When opening the module, the data of all reports displayed here is included in the graphic.
    • If you click on the Include in chart button next to the required status report in the left window, only the data of this particular report will be displayed in the graphic.
    • If you click on the button for further reports, the data of these reports will be loaded additively.
    • By clicking on the Reset button, the display in the graphic will be reset to its initial state, i.e. the data of all status reports will be displayed.
