  • Management (Web Client) → Dashboard → Overview → Project ListClick on the ID of a project
  • Management (Web Client) → Dashboard → OverviewClick on a bar in the Projects with delay (WET vs. KET)

Information

  • This module serves as a kind of message center for the status of a project. Here, the latest project information is displayed.
  • It is a plain output module, i.e., data cannot be changed.

Module Header

Information

  • In the module header, project ID, project name, and the number of days up to the project start or end will be displayed.

Project Estimate

Information

  • The current project estimate by the project manager will be displayed in a status bar.
  • By double-clicking on the project estimate, a list of the previous status reports (including the cost, effort, and date trends recorded in the reports) will be opened.
  • The estimate of the project manager is visualized by a thumb symbol.
  • The project status calculated by the program is visualized by a triangle shaped traffic light.
    • red: Cost/effort overrun by more than 5% or delay of more than 5 days
    • yellow: costs/effort overrun by more than 5% or delay of more than 5 days
    • green: costs/effort not overrun or no delay.

Process Phases

Information

  • If a process model has been selected in the Process Status module, the process bar, which includes all defined phases of the selected module, will be displayed in the project dashboard.
  • The phase the process steps of which are currently processed will be highlighted in color (white font on dark blue background).

Milestone Overview

Information

  • Here, all master milestones of the project are displayed in a graphic.
    • The y axis shows three planning states:
      • Current status
      • Status from the active (last released) status report
      • Status from the baseline status report
    • The x axis shows the entire project duration
      • Start = earliest calculated start date of the three planning states on the y axis
      • End = latest calculated end date of the three planning states on the y axis
    • Diamonds represent tasks that have been defined as master milestones.
      • In the middle of each diamond, the WBS code is displayed.
        • If no WBS code has been generated yet, the technical ID of the task will be displayed.
      • For the task name, refer to the legend below the graphic.

Details

  • The graphic will only be displayed if the following requirements are met:
    • The selected planning object is active (status=1) or archived (status = 9).
      • For archived planning objects, only the data from the baseline and the active status report are displayed.
    • Master milestones are available in the schedule.
    • The master milestones are scheduled (a scheduling was carried out after planning of the master milestones).
    • Each master milestone has a name.
  • If one of these requirements is not met, a note is displayed which informs you that the chart data is not available and gives you the reason for this.

Adherence to the Budget

Information

  • This area provides information on cost budget (left table) and effort budget (right table).
  • Baseline data and live data serve as comparable figures (current status).

Total Costs Cumulated

Information

  • In this chart, the cumulated total cost data are visualized.
  • The chart shows the data of the baseline and of the most recent status report by default.
  • In the legend below the chart, the baseline as well as all status reports are listed. By clicking on one of these legend elements, the respective data will be shown or hidden in the chart.

Total Effort Cumulated

Information

  • In this chart, the cumulated total effort data is visualized.
  • The chart shows the data of the baseline and of the most recent status report by default.
  • In the legend below the chart, the baseline as well as all status reports are listed. By clicking on one of these legend elements, the respective data will be shown or hidden in the chart.

Risk Overview

Information

  • This chart maps the probability of occurrence and the extent of damage of the project risks.
