Simulate Dates and Resource Utilization

Information

  • Simulations present an option to simulate and compare different planning scenarios with respect to dates and resource utilization in the portfolio. The desired scenario can be defined as a road map on the basis of which the project managers can move the dates of individual planning objects.
  • A simulation can help you to verify dates and utilization of portfolio planning objects
    • when a portfolio has been newly compiled
    • when a new planning object has been added to the portfolio
    • when a resource which is used in the portfolio has overload
    • when the dates of a portfolio planning object are to be moved, etc.
