Information
- In the Documents module, you can assign documents to the portfolio and manage them.
Module Variants
All documents | All pending, completed, and archived documents will be displayed. |
Archived documents | All documents for which the Archive checkbox is activated will be displayed. |
Completed elements | All documents for which the Completed checkbox is activated will be displayed. |
Insert document
Add documents and categorize them at the same time
- If there are no entries in the Documents area yet, or if the required category is not among those already written,
- select the category from the Category listbox in the area header and click on the New document button.
- The new category record with the required category, and below a new (empty) document record, are inserted.
- Enter a document name in the Document field and possibly write a short description in the Description field.
- Attach the file in the Linked file field.
- Save.
- select the category from the Category listbox in the area header and click on the New document button.
Add documents to existing categories
- If the required category has already been inserted in the area,
- insert a new document line by right.clicking on the category and selecting the Insert → Document command from the context menu.
- Edit the document record as described above.
- Save.
Details
- In the Linked file field, you can
- either selected and insert files via the Insert context menu command
- or simply drag files (e.g. from the Windows Explorer or from e-mail attachments) to the field via Drag&Drop.
- If the Completed and/or Archive checkboxes are activated for documents, the respective documents will no longer be displayed in the base variant but they will be moved to the Completed Documents or Archived Documents variants.
Delete Document
Procedure
- Mark the record which contains the required document.
- Delete the record via the Delete button in the toolbar.
