Customizing Limitations for Web Client

Information

Below you will find a list of functions which are not yet or only partially available for the current web client. Only the most important functions are listed. The list is updated continuously. Implemented functions are removed from the list.

PDF export
Excel export	Implemented with Web client 3.0.10. The corresponding menu item is available as standard from DB 39.5.23 or can be included individually in earlier DB versions via customizing.
PowerPoint export
Microsoft Project export/import
PLANTA themes in Web Client
Insert/change project images
E-mail dispatch by clicking on the stored e-mail addresses (an e-mail window is opened automatically)

Limited functions	Comment
Hyperlinks	Only database-based links are supported
Menu Items	Certain menu items from the Desktop Client are not available in the Web Client.

Iron Python integration

E.g. ClientCSVModule or Visifire charts. The charts in the standard modules have already been replaced by PLANTA.

If individual Visifire charts are available in your system, you must also convert them using the PLANTA Chart Customizer. If you have any questions, please contact your PLANTA consultant or see under Chart Customizing.

Special print functions / layout

The mechanism that exists in the Desktop Client does not exist in the Web Client. Printing is only possible via the browser.
