Client Update

Information

• Unlike the server update, the client update procedure from 39.4 to 39.5 and from 39.5.x to 39.5.y is identical.

Procedure

• You can refresh the PLANTA client as follows:
  • 1: Update via PLANTAClientInstaller. The PlantaClientInstaller is available on the PLANTA Transfer Server by unzipping the new client download folder (Release_Installer subdirectory).
  • 2: Manually by exchanging the entire client directory. The files with the new client version are available on the PLANTA Transfer Server by unzipping the new client download folder (Release subdirectory).
    • After the installation is completed, individual IronPython files must subsequently be adopted from the backup. Adjusted standard Iron Python files must be leveled with the new standard Iron Python files.
