  • In PLANTA project, each project can be subdivided into individual work packages. Such work packages are called Tasks. 
    • The individual tasks with durations and dates can be composed to form entire project schedules. They can be structured (work breakdown structure) and connected via links to form project networks. 
    • Resources which are responsible for the completion of tasks are planned on the tasks. 
    • The tasks can be further subdivided into even smaller packages called todo items.
    • In PLANTA project, such project plan including including Gantt diagram are called schedule.


Where is allowed to create and edit schedules?

In the Schedule module of the required project

You can open the project a) by opening a dialog window via the Extras → Go to menu or via CTRL + G and entering the ID of the required project or b) by clicking on the link on the ID of the required project in any module. Subsequently, click on the Schedule module tab.

Who is allowed to create and edit schedules?

All users who have access to the Schedule module and modification rights for projects. These are, in PLANTA standard, managers of the respective project, their deputies, or multi-project managers. For further information on rights, please click here.
