Information
- In this module, released status reports, project applications, and program applications, as well as projects without status reports, are displayed in the defined period.
- The approval can be canceled.
- New status reports can be created automatically for multiple projects at the push of a button.
Details
- When canceling the release, the previous status report/project application is set to active again.
- For runtime reasons, this is a one-step functionality in the standard system, i.e., the system uses the status to search for the previous status report.
- This can be changed by individual customizing if necessary.
Project, program, proposal status reports: Cancel Release
Information
- In the Project, program, proposal status reports: cancel release area, released status reports and controlling reports of main projects, programs, and proposals are displayed.
- The approval can be canceled.
Cancel approval
- Expand the tree structure of the respective object to display the existing released status reports.
- Cancel Approval
- by clicking on the Cancel release button next to the respective status report, or
- by right-clicking on the corresponding status report and selecting the Cancel release context menu command.
Notes
- The release can only be canceled for the last released status report.
- If you try to cancel the release for another (older) report, the Cannot cancel release because a newer released status report exists message will be displayed.
- If the release for the last released status report is canceled, the previous released status report automatically becomes the last released report. This means in particular that if the release is canceled for a status report which was not the last to be released you have to cancel the release one-by-one for all released status reports that have been released before the required one.
- The release for baseline status reports and controlling reports cannot be canceled.
- The release can neither be canceled for all status reports which were released before the baseline and before the controlling report.
- The release cannot be canceled for project, program, proposal status reports which are already used in portfolio status reports.
- Only users with multi-project or multi-portfolio manager or multi-project/request manager rights can cancel the release for project, program, proposal status reports.
Portfolio Status Reports: Cancel Approval
Notes
- The procedure for canceling the release is identical to that in the Project, program, proposal status report: cancel approval area.
- The release of portfolio status reports can only be canceled by users with multi-portfolio manager rights.
Project Applications: Cancel Approval
Information
- In the Project applications: cancel approval area, released project applications are displayed.
- The approval can be canceled.
Cancel approval
- Expand the tree structure of the respective project to display all existing approved project applications.
- Cancel Approval
- by clicking on the Cancel approval button next to the respective project application or
- by right-clicking on the corresponding project application and selecting the Cancel approval context menu command.

Collective Creation of Status Reports
Information
- In the Collective creation of status reports area you can
- 1) check which of the projects for which the Status reports: collective creation checkbox in the Project Core Data module is activated, have no status reports since a particular date. To do so, enter the required date or a date variable in the No status report from field and click on the Refresh button next to it.
- Note: This field does not accept the input of variables which do not contain a date.
- 2) create a current status report for each project found in item 1 at once by clicking on the Create status report button.
- 1) check which of the projects for which the Status reports: collective creation checkbox in the Project Core Data module is activated, have no status reports since a particular date. To do so, enter the required date or a date variable in the No status report from field and click on the Refresh button next to it.
