DI028182 Structure

The position of the menu item is entered here. This structure determines the position of the menu item in the pulldown menu.

Values

  • First number: Position of the main menu item
  • Second number: Position of the menu item
  • Third number: Position of the child menu item
  • The numbers are separated by dots

Example

  • Microsoft Excel menu item
  • Position:
    • Data → Send to → Microsoft Excel
  • MI structure:
    • 01 = Data
      • 01.11 Send to
        • 01.11.7 Microsoft Excel

Note

  • Menu items with Structure = 0 are not displayed in the pulldown menu but can still be activated or displayed in the toolbar.

DI024337 Type

The display type of the menu item in the pull-down menu is defined here.

Values

  • 0: Normal with sub-items
  • 3: Module call via menu bar
  • 4: Line (for separating menu items) - is used for the Line menu item 168

DI024338 Shortcut name

A shortcut can be assigned to each menu item. In this field you can enter the corresponding name which is displayed in the pulldown menu of the menu bar next to the menu item.

  • You can assign the shortcut in the Shortcut field.

DI040327 Shortcut

In this field you can store a shortcut for calling the menu item.

Details

  • If a shortcut is pressed while the focus is on this particular field, this shortcut is deposited.
  • By pressing the same shortcut again, it is deleted.
  • You can store several shortcuts on the same menu item. However, the same shortcut must not be used for different menu items.

Note

  • Additionally, the Shortcut name parameter must be filled, otherwise the shortcut will have no effect.
  • Shortcuts for menu items must not contain "ALT", since "ALT" is reserved for button shortcuts.

DI026198 OLE

This parameter serves to assigned an OLE to the menu item. Depending on the customizing, this OLE is displayed in the pulldown menu before the menu item and/or in the toolbar.

  • Menu bar: 24 x 24
  • Pulldown menu: 16 x 16

DI024335 Button pos.

This parameter determines the order of the buttons in the toolbar stored in the Toolbar parameter.

Values

  • Button pos. = 1: First button in the toolbar
  • Button pos. = 2: Second button in the toolbar
  • etc.

DI041539 Toolbar name

With the help of this parameter you can define in which toolbar the menu item is displayed.

  • provided that the modifying user possesses the required rights

Values

  • Print preview: the button is displayed in the toolbar of the print preview and page break preview.
  • Search function: the button is displayed in the toolbar which is displayed when using the Search in the module function.

DI024340 MOD

Here, the module ID of a module to be opened via the menu bar can be stored. To do so, you have to make the following additional settings:

  • Standard: Data Field Information module
  • Individual: module for reporting of hours worked applicable to all roles

DI002397 Module

Name of the module, specified in the MOD field. This name is displayed in the pulldown menu.

DI040824 Text

In the Text field, a text or comment on the Search, Standard, Print preview or Page break preview toolbar menu item can be entered. After restart, the text is displayed next to the menu item.
