Notification Settings

Information

  • In the Notification Settings area of the User Settings, notifications can be configured.
  • PLANTA pulse can send notifications directly in the application, via e-mail or via Telegram.
  • Via the sliders, the notifications can be turned on or off for specific cases and channels.

Access path

Details

  • Mentions: Users will be notified when they were mentioned in card comments via @username.
  • Cards Created by Me: Users will be notified about changes on cards created by them.
  • Cards I Am Assigned To: Users will be notified when they are assigned to cards and when cards on which they are a member have been modified.
  • Board Invitations: Users will be notified when they are invited to a board or removed from a board.
  • Watch List: Users will be notified about changes made to objects on the watch list (boards, lists, cards).

Notes

  • In order to use the in-app notifications the entry "enableInAppNotifications": true needs to be added to the Meteor Settings.
  • The option for Telegram notifications needs to be activated and configured in the Administration panel first. More Information

    • If notifications should be sent via Telegram, a Telegram account needs to be linked as well.

    Procedure

    • In Telegram, start a conversation with the bot of the system.
      • The name of the bot and further assistance can be found in the PLANTA pulse-Notification Settings when clicking on .
    • In the Telegram conversation, enter /sub "PLANTA pulse username" in order to link the Telegram account to the PLANTA pulse account.
    • In the PLANTA pulse User Settings, click again.
    • Check whether the right Telegram user is displayed and click Confirm.
    • The is now replaced by the Telegram logo and a confirmation is sent in the Telegram conversation.
      • The link can be removed again via the Telegram logo as well.
    • If Telegram notifications are now activated via the slider, they will be sent in this conversation.

E-Mail Notification Frequency

  • Via this setting, users can configure for how long activities are collected before an e-mail notification is sent.
  • By default, the setting uses the value which is configured in the Administration panel.
  • If needed, the Custom option can be selected and the collection period can be configured individually.

Group Notifications

  • Activate the slider to group the In-App Notifications.
  • Below, the time frame can be configured in which notifications are being grouped below the corresponding card.
    • By default, 2h are defined, i.e. all new notifications regarding a specific card that occur within 2h are grouped below this card.
