Customizing Master Data

 Information

  • Under Customizing Master Data you will find modules in which different customizing objects (e.g. variables, dialog messages, or global parameters) are managed and new objects can be created. Here you will also find an overview of the modules or module panels with short descriptions.
  • The modules can be found in the Customizer role under Master Data.


Module/Module PanelDescription
Dialog Messages MOD003596In this module, all dialog messages used in standard modules are listed. New individual dialog messages can be created here.
Assignment of Print Areas MOD009CR8

This module shows all print areas used in standard modules.

Global Settings MOD009ABF

In this module you can manage settings which are to be applied system-wide and store/manage customizing objects which are used, e.g., in different Python macros and/or value ranges (like modules, OLEs, etc. ), in order to ensure their facile system-wide exchangeability.

Hyperlinks module panelIn the individual modules of the panel, all hyperlinks which are created by users in in PLANTA project modules are displayed per database schema and can be managed.
Listbox values module panelThis panel contains two modules for managing listbox values as well as for the creation of new values. Listbox values are values available which the user can select in selection boxes (listboxes) on the interface of different data fields. 
SQL Statements MOD009610

This module is a central administration center of the source texts which are, e.g., used in Python value ranges, macros, etc.

Text Constants MOD000012Module for managing text constants which are used in standard modules as well as for the creation of individual text constants. Text constants are fixed multilingual texts which are used for different purposes, e.g. for naming areas in forms, for naming groups, etc. 
Variables module panelIn the individual modules of the Variables panel existing variables can be managed and new variables can be defined. For general information on variables and on how to use them, please click here.
