Here, the ID of the user menu module, which defines the behavior and layout of the user menu for the desktop client, is specified. The user menu in PLANTA project contains the roles, work areas, and modules assigned to a user.
Details
- The user menu can be designed individually, e.g.:
- with different colors
- with/without tree structure
- with different behavior in terms of arrangement
- with/without OLE objects
- For this purpose, a new user menu module must be created and assigned to the appropriate user interface.

- The format defined here in the skin can be overridden by defining a deviating format at other levels:
- at user level via the Date format parameter
- at data item level via the Format ID parameter
- at data field level via the Format ID parameter
Note
- If you want to work with different date formats on your interface, e.g. different skins for German and English users, you have to specify the ID of the format which is to be used for filtering on the date fields in the customizing in the global Standard date format parameter, so that they are interpreted correctly for users who use a deviating date format.
- For such a case you have to make sure that in customizing date strings which are used as filter criteria (Filter from / Filter to) on date fields have the same format as specified in the global parameter.
