Information
-
In PLANTA project you cannot only record hours worked but also times of presence (a sort of "attendance clock" function) as well as breaks, journeys, and over-night stays. This function may become necessary if such data is not imported from an external system.
-
In order to use this function, the PLANTA administrator must make a global setting.(setting for the recording of clock in/clock out times)
Where can I record presence times?
In the Record Hours module, which can be found in the Time Recording panel.
Procedure
-
Click on the Record presence time button in the Record hours module.
-
If this button does not exist in your Record Hours module, this means that this function has not been activated in your system. In such a case, please contact your PLANTA administrator.
-
-
The Presence module will be opened. Record presence times as described in the module topic.
Details
-
The values recorded in the Presence Time module are displayed summed per day directly below the time scale, as well as a weekly total next to the heading Present in the Record Hours module.
-
A traffic-light indicator has been implemented on the values below the time scale, indicating that there are still incomplete entries in the Presence module. Incomplete means that it was saved in the Presence module while, in one of the entries, either the Start field or the End field is still empty. For example: If, in the Presence module,
-
no complete entry exists at all, the value from Unit/Period of the resource is used below the time scale and displayed in red.
-
both complete and incomplete entries already exist, the summed value of the complete entries is displayed below the time scale, but is colored red because incomplete entries are still present.
-
all entries are complete, the summed value of all entries is displayed below the time scale and is not colored red.
-
-
If, when trying to record presence, the message No period records found is displayed, please contact your PLANTA administrator.
