DI041320 Role startup MOD

ID of a startup module which is automatically loaded upon program start or when clicking on the Extras → Home menu items when the executing user possesses the corresponding role with a defined role start-up module.

  • A role startup module which is defined per role presents an alternative to a user startup module which is defined per user. Role startup modules enable the automatic upon program of several modules for a user upon program start, since, unlike in user startup modules, which can only be specified once per user, here several roles can be assigned to a user. Unlike the user startup module, which is permanently stored by the administrator and can neither be changed nor deactivated by the user, the use of role startup modules allows the user to change the default preset made by the administrator, i.e. to define whether and which of the standard startup modules are to be loaded. For further information, see Load Startup Module.
  • A user startup module is stored directly on the user record in the MOD (startup macro) field in the Users module.
  • A role startup module is stored on the respective role in the MOD (role startup MOD) field in the Roles module.
    • A role startup module only takes effect when the following settings have been made in the Users module:
      • the respective role is assigned to the user,
      • the Load startup module checkbox is activated for the role,
      • macro 009A1W Startup of all role modules is selected on the user in the MOD (Startup macro) field. This macro assures that the role startup modules take effect instead of the user startup module.
