Web Client: Project Overview for Management
Information
- The management has the option to use PLANTA project via web client. I.e., the software can be opened from any location via the browser, provided that there is an internet connection.
- In the web client, there are special editing modules for the management which provide a quick overview of the status of the company projects.
- The web client will progressively be made available to other user groups as well.

Web Client Modules for Management
Information
- The management modules which are opened via the web client differ from the management modules of the desktop version.
- The module tree and the individual modules of the management role have been streamlined and restructured for the web client.
- The Overview module contains different charts which provide the management with a compact overview of the active company projects.
- Project details can be viewed via the Project List, Project Dashboard, and Project Core Data modules.
- In the Documents module, the management can store and view documents relating to the selected project.
Menus and Menu Items
Information
- The menus and menu items of the web client differ slightly from those of the desktop client.
- The entries of the menu bar of the desktop clients are located in a new menu in the web client. The menu is opened via the symbol at the top margin of your display.
- The menu utems available in the web client are the same as in the desktop client, they only differ in their number and arrangement.
- Special case: The Home menu item in the web client has a special behavior. Further information
- The web client menu items are managed through their own menu item role. If it is not assigned to the web client user by the administrator, the user will see the desktop menu items in the web client. The user will be informed on this by a corresponding message upon login.
