- Portfolio Management → Planning and Reports → Multi-Portfolio Board → Portfolios → Click on the ID of the required portfolio → Portfolio panel → Portfolio Gantt
Information
- This module provides the portfolio manager with an overview of the planning objects contained in the selected portfolio as well as with a graphical representation of their duration/start and end date in the form of a Gantt chart.
- Overhead cost projects (Posting type = 0) are not considered in this module.
Details
The projects displayed in this module are grouped by code by default. However, it is possible to change the grouping or to have the planning objects displayed ungrouped.
- In the Group by field you can either change the grouping criterion by making a selection from the listbox, or delete it. After you have clicked on the Apply changes button, the planning objects are grouped by the new criterion or displayed ungrouped.
- If you change the grouping criterion in another module of the panel which also contains grouping criteria, it automatically takes effect in the current module as well.
- In the Group by field you can either change the grouping criterion by making a selection from the listbox, or delete it. After you have clicked on the Apply changes button, the planning objects are grouped by the new criterion or displayed ungrouped.
- By clicking on the ID of the required planning object you switch to the corresponding planning object panel (Program, Project, Proposal, Idea), in which the planning object data can be edited or viewed depending on the user rights.
By clicking on the arrows in the time scale area (
for incoming and for outgoing links), you can open and look at external links of the planning object in a dialog module. If you click on the arrow again, the dialog module is closed again.
