Create Project Plan

Information

  • In PLANTA project, each project can be subdivided into individual work packages. Such work packages are called Tasks. The individual tasks with their durations and dates can be structured and interlinked to form complex project plans.
  • Resources which are responsible for the completion of tasks are planned on the tasks.
  • The tasks can be further subdivided into even smaller packages called todo items.
  • Such project plans including graphical Gantt diagram representations are called Schedules in PLANTA project.


Where can I create and edit schedules?

In the Schedule module of the required project

You can open the project a) by opening a dialog window via the Extras → Go to menu or via CTRL + G and entering the ID of the required project or b) by clicking on the link on the ID of the required project in any module. Subsequently, click on the Schedule module tab.

Who is allowed to create and edit schedules?

All users who have access to the Schedule module and modification rights for projects.These are, in PLANTA standard, managers of the respective project, their deputies, or multi-project managers. For further information on rights, please click here.
