Role Function and Tasks
Program managers are responsible for the definition of programs as well as for the coordination of the Planning Objects, which the programs comprise.
- The program manager’s objective is to achieve the strategic goals and requirements of their programs.
- The definition and creation of programs is part of the program manager’s tasks.
- They are also responsible for the estimate of risks and opportunities as well as of costs and effort of the planning objects contained in programs.
- They monitor the contained projects with regard to budget and dates and create program status reports.
