DT811 Risk measures

The risk parameters described below are contained in the following modules:

DI007717 Project ID

Technical ID of the project. It is automatically generated when a project is created. In contrast to the functional ID in the Project DI, it cannot be changed. It is usually hidden in the modules.

DI007718 Risk

ID of the risk

DI041373 Project

Functional ID of project

DI041556 Project name

Name of the project

DI007719 Measure

ID of the risk measure

DI059696 Bar: risk measures

Bar for the visualization of the risk measure date below the time scale

DI007734 Linked file

In this field you can create a link to a file.

Insert file

  • Right-click on the Linked file field and select the Insert context menu command.
  • Click on the Search button in the Insert hyperlink window.
  • Select the required file and click on the Open button.
  • Confirm with OK.
  • Save.

Details

  • It is also possible to directly insert files from, e.g., the Windows explorer or files attached to e-mails via Drag&Drop.
  • The respective data field is hidden by default and can be unhidden by the user if necessary.

DI008089 Escalation level ID

Code (ID) of the escalation level. For description, see DI056891 Escalation level..

DI056891 Escalation level

Name (incarnation field) of the escalation type. The escalation level is the scope within which escalation takes place.

Values

  • Within the project

  • Within the company

  • As far as the client is concerned

DI008090 Escalation contact

Here, the escalation partner of the risk measure is displayed or selected from the listbox.

Values

  • Project Team

  • Project Manager

  • Project Committee

  • Steering Committee

  • Executive Management

DI026063 Description

Text field for the description of the measure.

DI028261 Reduction

Percentage value by which the probability of the damage caused by the risk is reduced. The value entered here is subtracted from the damage probability value of the respective risk. E.g. if the damage probability is 40% and 10% is entered in the decrease, then the final probability is 30%.

Caution

Notes

  • If the sum of measure reduction values exceeds the probability of damage specified in the risk, the probability of damage is set to 0% in the calculation of the probable damage, which, however, is not explicitly visible on the surface.
  • Even if the probability of damage obtained by the measures can be reduced to 0%, the probable damage does not necessarily have to be 0 since the costs of the measures are included in the calculation.

DI028262 Costs

Costs of the risk measure

Details

DI028263 Status ID

Code (ID) of the status of the risk measure. For description, see DI056890 Status..

DI056890 Status

Name of the status of the risk measure

Values

  • Regular activity

  • Planned

  • In progress

  • Implemented

  • Completed

  • Discarded

Caution

  • Measures with "discarded" status are not taken into account in the calculation of the Probable damage.

  • Records of risk measures with Status = “Implemented,” "Completed", or "Rejected" are displayed in gray.

DI028265 Person responsible: ID

Code (ID) of the resource responsible for completing the appropriate measure. See also DI056894 Person responsible.

DI056894 Responsible for the measure

Name of the resource that is responsible for the completion of the corresponding measure.

DI028266 Plan date

The date on which the measure is to be completed or rejected. For measures that are carried out regularly, this field remains empty.

DI028274 Relative risk reduction

The parameter is used to calculate the Probable damage.

Details

  • The value from the Reduction field is applied, provided that the status of the measure is not "discarded". For discarded measures, Relative opportunity reduction is not filled. This ensures that the discarded measures are not taken into account in the calculation of the Probable damage.

DI028275 Relative measure costs

The parameter is used to calculate the Probable damage.

Details

  • The value from the Costs field is applied, provided that the status of the measure is not "discarded". For discarded measures, the Relative measure costs field is not filled. This ensures that the discarded measures are not taken into account in the calculation of the Probable damage.

DI041354 TDI: Measures: Past/Current/Future

Technical data item via which the date status of the risk measure is controlled

Values

  • without date

  • late

  • today

  • future

DI041561 Risk name

Name of the risk

DI041595 TDI: 1

Technical data item. It is used to visualize the number of risk measures in different modules.

Example

  • In the Activities area (Todo items up to DB 39.5.0) in the Dashboard module, the number of risk measures is displayed by 4 statuses (late, today, future, without date).

DI067056 Date of completion

Date on which the measure ends.

  • This field is only filled after the measure has been completed.

DI282266 Plan date

Planned date of the measure implementation.

DI056890 Degree of implementation

Description of the degree of implementation of the measure. In input mode, a listbox for the selection of the degree of implementation is displayed on the respective field.

Values

  • Regular activity

  • Completed

  • Discarded

  • In progress
