Import Reference MOD009D18

The procedure described in this topic is only required if the database version you want to update is < DB 39.5.14. If you use database version DB 39.5.14 or later, there is no need to manually import the reference status. See more under Database Update.

• In this module you can import a reference status with the help of which individual adjustments to standard objects can be recognized in database update and be identified as conflicts.

The identification and subsequent solution of conflicts are components of the conflict management procedure which replaces the former ICOU and provides an option to carry out database updates faster and cleaner since all conflicts are found automatically and conflict solutions for future updates can be preconfigured in order to be carried out automatically.

Details

• The reference status is made available by PLANTA.

  • The respective files are located on the PLANTA Transfer Server under Current Releases → 39.5.x → Database → ICOU Reference Status.

  • Select the required version here and save the .sql file and the .zip file in the PLANTA Server directory.

Procedure

• First insert the path of the .sql file in the Reference path field.

• Click on the Start import button.

• Then insert the path of the .zip file and click on the Start import button again.

• Afterwards click on the Find adjustment button to find conflicts.
