Resource Manager / Skill Manager
Below you will find an explanation of what a resource and skill manager role is in PLANTA project and which modules are available for this role.
Role Function and Tasks
Resource managers are responsible for the timely completion of all project-related tasks of their department.
- They ensure that work loads are distributed optimally among their employees and that there is a high and even utilization of resources in their departments.
- For this purpose, they identify free capacities and bottle necks and plan their employees in consideration of priority, skill, and availability.

- A list of the planning object modules and further information can be found under Project Panel, Proposal Panel, Idea Panel, Portfolio Panel or Program Panel.
- Whether the current user is authorized to change or to only view planning object data in this module, depends on his/her user rights.
