The PLANTA Windows Client is not part of the PLANTA project container delivery. It is installed and updated separately.
Procedure

You can install and update the PLANTA client in the following ways

1: Installation and update via the PLANTAClientInstaller. It is available on the PLANTA Transfer Server by unpacking the respective Client download folder (Release_Installer subfolder).

2: Manually by exchanging the entire client directory. The files with the new client version are available on the PLANTA Transfer Server by unzipping the new client download folder (Release subdirectory).

After the installation is completed, individual IronPython files must subsequently be adopted from the backup. Adjusted standard Iron Python files must be leveled with the new standard Iron Python files.

The client is connected to the corresponding system via the
gui__portenvironment variable of the server.
