Special System Requirements for Release DB 26

Please note: Since release 39.5.25 (at least DB 25.0.0, at least S 39.0.0), PLANTA provides all of its software components (exception: Desktop Client) as a container solution. An OCI-compatible container runtime or platform, e.g. Docker, is required for the installation / operation of this version or for any update to this version. Notes on Update and Component Dependencies

Information

• A direct update to version DB 26 is possible from source versions DB 39.5.16 or higher. If you use an earlier version, you first have to update to version DB 39.5.16 and subsequently to version DB 26.

• For an update to database DB 26, it is absolutely essential that you also update the server to at least version S 39.1.0 and the client to version C 39.5.34.5.

• In DB 39.5.18, the outdated "pysapnwrfc" SAP library has replaced by the "pyrfc" library. When updating versions < DB 39.5.18, the concerned SAP interfaces must be adjusted. For further information on the integration of PLANTA project and SAP, see here.

• If you work with hybrid PLANTA systems, please note that PLANTA project version 19 requires at least PLANTA pulse version 44.0.

• Since release DB 39.5.17, PLANTA offers a new Online Help. If you update from a release < DB 39.5.17 and want to continue to use context sensitive help directly from within your system (F1/F2), or if your firewall only permits limited Internet access, you have to make sure that the PLANTA project application server has at least access to the IP address: 3.65.222.100.
