Version DB 25.0.1

• If you update directly from a DB version < 39.5.25 to patch 25.0.1, you will receive the fixes during the update.

• If you are already using DB 39.5.25, you must first update your system to the customizing container image DB 25.0.1. Subsequently execute the SetDisplayBehaviorForIndividualMenuItems and AddActiveFlag packets located at Migration Packets → Cross-Release Packets by clicking on the Read packets from file system button.

Even with patch 25.0.1 installed, the version display in the system information (CTRL+B) will still show 39.5.25.

Special System Requirements for Release DB 39.5.25

Please note: Version DB 39.5.25 (Customizing Image DB25) is part of a containerized release 39.5.25. An OCI-compatible container runtime or platform, e.g. Docker, is required for the installation / operation of this version or the update to this version. For further information, see Installation of PLANTA project.

Notes on Update and Component Dependencies

• A direct update to version DB 39.5.25 is possible from source versions DB 39.5.16 or higher. If you use an earlier version, you first have to update to version DB 39.5.16 and subsequently to version DB 39.5.25.

• For an update to database DB 39.5.25, it is absolutely essential that you also update the server to version S 39.5.39 and the client to version C 39.5.34.

• If you work with hybrid systems, please note that PLANTA project version 39.5.25 requires at least PLANTA pulse version 44.0.

• Since release DB 39.5.17, PLANTA offers a new Online Help. If you update from a release < DB 39.5.17 and want to continue to use context sensitive help directly from within your system (F1/F2), or if your firewall only permits limited Internet access, you have to make sure that the PLANTA project application server has at least access to the IP address: 3.65.222.100.
