Colors and Symbols Grouped MOD009D53

Access

Information

  • In the module the colors and symbols which are used most are displayed grouped.
  • In window 1, the symbol groups are displayed.
    • Here, new symbol groups can be created and existing groups can be edited.
  • In window 2, the colors are displayed.
    • They are divided into primary and secondary colors, further colors (gradients), and individual colors.

Note

  • In this module, no new symbols or colors can be created. Symbols can be newly created in the Symbols module and colors in the Colors module.

Symbol Groups

Information

  • By default, different symbol groups are displayed for individual areas (e.g. "vacation" or "absence").
  • New groups can be created.
  • For each symbol group, the Name, the Background color, the Margin color and the Content color are displayed.
    • Via these fields, the symbols of a symbol group can be edited in groups.
  • If you expand a symbol group, all symbols which belong to this group are displayed.
    • They can be edited or assigned to another group.

Create New Symbol Group

  • Via the context menu InsertSymbol Group Insert a new symbol group record
  • Enter a name in the Name field.
  • Save.
  • Symbols from other groups can now be assigned to the symbol group.

Assign symbols to another group

  • Expand the symbol group with the required symbol.
  • Click on the button to the right next to the symbol Assign symbol to another group .
  • The Assign Symbol Group dialog is opened.
  • Click on the Assign symbol group .
  • The symbol is only displayed in the other symbol group.

Details

  • In the Miscellaneous symbol group, all symbols are displayed which are used in the standard but are not assigned to a specific group.
  • In the Individual symbols symbol group, all symbols are displayed which have been newly created in the Symbols module on part of the customer.

Colors

Information

  • In window 2, the colors used in PLANTA Standard are displayed as a reference.

Details

  • Colors are divided into primary and secondary colors, further colors (gradients), and individual colors.
  • In the Individual colors area, colors are displayed which have been created in the Colors module on part of the customer.
