For information

  • In this module, the opportunity and the corresponding measures for which the employee is defined as person responsible are recorded and edited.

    • The responsible employee can edit data of the corresponding opportunity measure(s). This way, he/she informs the project manager on the success of the measure in question.

Identify, record and evaluate opportunities.

Procedure

  • Allocate a Name.

  • Save.

  • Newly created opportunities are automatically assigned an opportunity ID and are active by default (Active checkbox activated). Active opportunities are

    • considered in analyses and status reports and

    • displayed in the charts.

Perform Opportunity Evaluation

Information

  • PLANTA project offers an option to perform a qualitative and monetary evaluation of recorded opportunities.

It is recommended that only one risk evaluation method be used.

Perform Qualitative Opportunity Evaluation

  • Provide an estimation of the opportunity in the Gross profit level and Probability of occurrence listboxes in the Qualitative Evaluation area.

    • Only when these listboxes are filled as intended can opportunities be displayed in the corresponding diagram.

  • Save.

Carry Out Monetary Opportunity Evaluation

  • Provide an estimation of the opportunity in the Possible gross profit (EUR) and Probability (in %) text fields in the Monetary evaluation area.

    • Only when these text fields are filled as intended can opportunities be visualizing in the corresponding diagram.

  • Save.

Measures

Information

  • To increase the success potential of opportunities, measures that promote opportunities can also be recorded in the Opportunity module.

Insert and Record Measures

  • Click on the Insert measures plus-button in the Measures area.

    • Newly created measures are automatically assigned a measure ID.

  • In the Date field, the current date is automatically entered by default.

    • Some fields are automatically filled with default values, but can be changed immediately after creation or at a later date.

  • Allocate a measure name.

  • Enter information or make specifications.

  • Save.
