Stakeholder analysis is only available in the Web Client. If you click the Open stakeholder analysis button in the Stakeholders section of the Project Core Data module in the PLANTA Windows client, or open the Stakeholder Analysis module directly, a dialog box with a corresponding message will appear.
Information
This module evaluates, among other things, the influence and interests of individual stakeholders in relation to the project.
The automatically calculated results of the stakeholder analysis are graphically visualized in the Stakeholder matrix area.
You can send information to stakeholders.
Stakeholder Analysis
Information
Stakeholder analysis serves to identify relevant individuals or groups involved in or affected by the project and to systematically evaluate their influence and interests.
With the help of stakeholder analysis, you can
identify risks at an early stage,
avoid conflicts, and
develop targeted communication strategies.
Details
The stakeholders displayed here are recorded in the section of the same name in the Project Core Data module. New stakeholders cannot be created in this module.
Stakeholders can be contacted directly within this module via email by selecting the Send info command from the context menu for the required stakeholder.
In the Role field, you can additionally define the project role of the stakeholder.
By clicking on the Manage stakeholders button you switch to the Stakeholders area in the Project Core Data module.
Carry Out Stakeholder Analysis
Procedure
Evaluate the desired stakeholders based on the following categories.
Influence: Influence of the stakeholder on the project. Can be classified as high, medium, or low.
Interest: Interest of the stakeholder in the project. Can be classified as high, medium, or low.
To represent stakeholders in the stakeholder matrix, information is required in the categories Influence and Interest.
Settings: Stakeholder attitude toward the project. Can be classified as positive, neutral, or negative. Is additionally visualized by a traffic light.
In the matrix, the stakeholder's avatar is outlined in the color of the traffic light.
When the cursor is positioned on the stakeholder's avatar in the stakeholder matrix area, a tooltip is displayed, showing data from this category, among other things.
Risks: Risks to the project caused by a stakeholder. Can be entered as free text in the corresponding field.

Strategies and Measures: Individual strategies and measures to prevent or minimize the risks that have been identified. Can be entered as free text in the corresponding field.

Stakeholder Matrix
Information
The stakeholder matrix is a two-dimensional matrix.
The Y-axis shows the evaluation in the Interest category.
The X-axis shows the evaluation in the influence category.
Based on the evaluation, stakeholders can be classified into nine categories.
The evaluation in the Attitude category is visualized in the stakeholder matrix by coloring the borders of the stakeholder avatars and is also displayed in the tooltips on the stakeholder avatars.
Risks and Strategies and Measures are also displayed in the tooltips on the avatars if they have been previously defined for the relevant stakeholders as part of the stakeholder analysis.
