Information
- This module provides the portfolio manager with an overview of the critical planning objects of his/her portfolio. The displayed planning object data is current planning data.
- The module does not yet contain data when a portfolio is created. It is filled with data during portfolio planning and editing.
- Displayed planning objects can be opened and or edited by clicking on the ID.
Critical Planning Objects
Information
- In the Critical Planning Objects area, the following planning objects are listed:
- In the Budget overrun: costs area you will see the planning objects for which the total costs (Total costs) are higher than the budget (Cost budget). The planning objects will be displayed divided into two categories, according to the threshold values for cost budget overrun: Budget overrun up to 5 % and over 5%.
- In the Budget overrun: effort area, the planning objects for which the total costs (Total effort) are higher than the budget (Effort budget) . The planning objects are displayed divided into two categories, according to the threshold value limits for effort budget overrun: Budget overrun up to 5 % and over 5%.
- In the Master milestone delay area, planning objects the master milestones of which have a date delay (Calc. end is later than the Requested end). The planning objects are displayed divided into two categories, according to the threshold value limits for date delay: Delay up to 5 % and over 5%.
- In the Manager’s estimate: critical area, planning objects for which the Estimate of the project manager is not explicitly positive.
Details
- Traffic lights are assigned to all deviation value fields in order to provide a quick overview of overruns and delays.
- Via the context menu on the respective planning object, a message can be sent to the manager in charge. When you select the Message to project manager command, the Send Info module will be opened, in which all core data of the project and portfolio has already been created and the project manager of the project has been selected as a message recipient. The message can be sent by clicking on the Send button.
Watchlist
Information
- In this area, planning objects of the portfolio which the portfolio manager has selected for monitoring are displayed.
- You can assign planning objects to the watchlist via the Assign planning objects to the watchlist button next to the area heading.
- As a result, the Assign Planning Objects to the Watchlist module in which the planning objects for the watchlist can be selected is opened.
- The planning objects can be removed from the watchlist via the Delete button in the toolbar.
