In the Send Info module, a PLANTA project user can write and send messages to another PLANTA project user.
Send Information

Enter a name in the Title field and the message text in the Text field (white field below the yellow bar).

By default, the Title field is either filled with the name of the module (e.g. if the info is sent from the Process Status module) or with the following string: -Please enter a subject-

Reselect the Recipient if necessary.

Click on the Send button.

The messages are sent to the recipient via e-mail.

To use e-mail dispatch directly in PLANTA, you have to make sure that

the e-mail addresses of all PLANTA persons concerned (sender and recipient) are specified in the E-mail field in the Persons module.

the specified e-mail address is correct. E-mail addresses are not validated in PLANTA project, so in case you enter a wrong address, the recipient will not receive the e-mail.

the global parameters required for e-mail dispatch are set in the Global Settings module.
