- Customizer → System Customizer → Users, Roles, Resources → Roles → Click on the link in the Work area name field on a menu item work area
Information
- In this module you can only create, edit, and manage the work areas of the Menu items category.
- The default work areas contained in the module must not be changed.
- They can either be assigned in the current form to a role and subsequently to a user, or be used as a template for the creation of an individual menu item work area.
Create an individual menu item work area
- Copy the required default work area via Drag&Drop → Record/s.
- As a result, a new work area with the same Name but with a new ID will be created and all records (in this case menu items) from the source work area will be copied to the new work area.
- In the new work area, menu items can be deleted or deactivated, according to your requirements.
- Delete/deactivate menu items
- Normal menu items
- are hard-coded and cannot be deleted from the work area.
- In order to deactivate menu items, enter 0 in the Structure field.
- Menu items for calling up macros and modules (marked with the number 0001).

- Insert menu items
- Insert an empty record by right-clicking on a menu item and selecting the Insert → Menu item command.
- Select the respective menu item from the MI listbox, e.g. 0001 for a menu item which opens a module.
- For this menu item, enter the module in the MOD data field.
- Allocate a shortcut in the Shortcut field if necessary.
- Important: Additionally, the Shortcut name parameter must be filled, otherwise the shortcut will have no effect.
- Save.
- For other menu item types, you possibly have to set other parameters.
- Change the structure of menu items
- by changing the entry in the Structure field.
- Edit all menu items
- by changing or defining menu item parameters.
- Delete/deactivate menu items
