Information
- In this module, the load of the Department Resources per month is displayed
- which the logged-on user is allowed to see according to his/her respective rights and
- for which it is defined in the Show in utilization parameter that they are displayed in the Utilization module and at which position.
- Each diagram presents a summarized utilization of the respective department resources, i.e. the utilization of the department resource itself and of all resources which belong to the department.
Details
- If the department resource itself has overload, it will be shown in red color below the utilization diagram of this resource.
- The overloads of the individual resources of the department are not shown as long as they are compensated by other resources. If, however, the sum of the overloads of individual resources causes overload for the department, the overload of the department will be shown as well.
- By expanding the tree structure on the Overload text (in red color as well) or by double-clicking on an overload number in the diagram you can open the subarea of the same name in which the causes (projects) of the overload are displayed. Here, overloads are displayed in hours. This may possibly lead to rounding differences in the displayed overload values. It may also occur that no overload value in days is displayed below the diagram, although an overload record is available, as is the case, e.g., for overload values of less than one day.
- By clicking on the ID of the required project you can switch to the corresponding Project panel in which you can review or edit the project data depending on your user rights.
To be Considered
- PLANTA recommends to carry out a replanning of all projects before viewing the utilization diagram, especially if changes have been made to the resource structure.
Module Variants
Base | All resources are displayed which meet the mentioned requirements |
Only resources with overload | Only resources which have overload will be displayed |
Legend: Utilization diagram
Symbol | Meaning | Color | Comment |
---|---|---|---|
Planned load (remaining load) of the resource(s) in projects | The color of the bar is determined by the code of the projects. Code A Code B Code C Code D Code E | The code is defined in the Project Core Data of the respective project. The values for the histogram bars are each calculated from the Summarized planned code 1 to Summarized planned code 5 columns. | |
Actual load of the resource(s) | The values for the histogram bar will be determined from the Summarized used column from the period records of the resource(s) (DT468). The values in the period records again stem from the time recording of the resources (DT472). | ||
Available capacity of the resource(s) | The values for the histogram bar will be determined from the Summarized available capacity column from the period records of the resource(s) (DT468). The value in DT468, however, comes from the general Available capacity defined for the resource in the Resource Data Sheet. The limiting line at the top of the bar will remain visible despite of overlapping by load data. | ||
Basic load of the resource(s) | The values for the histogram bar will be determined from the Basic load (factor value 3) column from the period records of the resource(s) (DT468). The value in DT468, however, comes from the general Available capacity defined for the resource in the Resource Data Sheet. The limiting line at the top of the bar will remain visible despite of overlapping by load data. | ||
or 20h | Overload of the resource | The overload percentage value displayed in the red bar or the absolute overload displayed as a red number will be determined from the availability of the resource (Summarized available capacity) and its planned loads (Summarized planned). |
