Introduction

• Click on the plus button in the user menu → Click on Project → New Project

• Planning → Projects panel → Gantt → Click on the New Project button in the action bar

• Planning → Projects panel → List → Click on the New Project button in the action bar

• Planning → Portfolios panel → Strategic Analysis → Click on the New Project button in the action bar

Information

• This module is a dialog module for creating new projects.

• Only users with the respective authorization can create new projects.

Procedure

• Enter the project title in the opened dialog module and

• determine the project manager,

• optionally, enter the functional ID of the project (otherwise, the assignment is done automatically), and

• choose the planning method (traditional or hybrid).

• Confirm the entries with Create.

  • The Project Core Data module, in which basic data, key dates, and other core data and parameters are entered, opens.
