Configure User Authorizations MOD009E3M

Introduction

  • Settings → Master Data → Users, Roles, Resources → Configure Authorizations

Information

  • In the Configure Authorizations module, a matrix is used to define which person groups possess which system-wide authorizations.

  • In the current version the matrix includes the authorization to create new planning objects (Project, Program, Portfolio, Proposal, Idea).

Matrix

  • Lines: system-wide authorizations, e. g. Create New Project, Create New Program, Create New Portfolio, Create New Proposal, Create New Idea.

  • Columns: Person groups

  • Field: Checkbox – activated, if the respective person group has the authorization

In the future, more rights will be able to be configured in the rights matrix. In the current version, further system-wide rights, e. g. editing and deleting planning objects, are still defined in the User module.
