  • New planning objects can also be created from within this module by using the corresponding buttons in the action bar.

Module Variants

Base

Inactive

Details

  • The Object Type selection area can be used to specify which planning object types (Projects, Programs, Proposals, Ideas) should be displayed. When opening the module only Projects is selected by default. The selection will not be saved.

  • Planning Objects are displayed grouped by Planning Objects without Portfolio Assignment and Planning Objects with Portfolio Assignment.

    • Under Planning Objects without Portfolio Assignment, planning objects which have not yet been assigned to a portfolio are displayed.

    • Under Planning Objects with Portfolio Assignment, planning objects which have already been assigned to a portfolio will be displayed.

  • The bubble chart provides an analysis of the planning objects by risk value and objective contribution.

    • The risk values and objective contributions required for the analysis must first be detected for each individual planning object in the respective Core Data module.

    • The bubble size is determined by the NPV of the planning object.

  • When you move the mouse cursor over a bubble, a tooltip will be displayed which contains the title, ID, and NPV value of the planning object.

  • By clicking on the ID of the required planning object or on the corresponding bubble you can switch directly to the corresponding panel (Project, Program, Proposal or Idea) in which, depending on your user rights, you can edit or view the data.

  • By clicking on the New Project, New Program, New Proposal and New Idea buttons in the action bar, a new planning object of the respective type can be created.
