My Objects panel → My Objects
Information
-
The My Objects module displays active (Status = "Active") planning objects and portfolios that have not yet been completed (no Actual end date) and for which the logged-in employee is a manager, stakeholder, or person responsible.
Details
-
All panning objects are grouped by their type. projects, ideas, proposals, programs. All portfolios are displayed as well.
-
Within these groups, planning objects and portfolios are divided into the following subgroups based on the user's permissions for those planning objects/portfolios:
-
My Main Projects, My Proposals, My Ideas, My Programs, My Portfolios: These subgroups display planning objects and portfolios for which the logged on user is a manager.
-
My Subprojects: In this subgroup, planning objects are displayed for which the logged on user is a manager.
-
This subgroup is only available in the Projects group.
-
-
Stakeholder with modification rights: This area displays planning objects and portfolios for which the logged on user is a deputy manager.
-
Stakeholder without modification rights: This area displays planning objects and portfolios for which the logged on user is a stakeholder.
-
Tasks: In this area, planning objects are displayed, in which the logged on user is defined as a person responsible for the task for one or several tasks.
-
The respective group or subgroup is only displayed if it contains at least one planning object or portfolio.
-
If the rights of the user in planning objects or portfolios change, the display in the My Objects module is only refreshed after restarting the program, since the rights are checked and reloaded during restart.
In the grouping of the planning objects, the Manager authorization is dominant. I.e., if a user is both a stakeholder with modification rights and manager of a planning object, the planning object is grouped under My Main Projects (My Ideas, My Proposals, My Programs) or My Subprojects. The same applies to portfolios.
-
By clicking on the ID of the required planning object or portfolio, you can directly switch to the corresponding panel, where you can edit or view the data, depending on your user rights.
-
By clicking on the number in the Forecasts field you automatically switch to the Progress module in which you can view details of existing forecasts.
-
The right-hand window displays a graphical representation in the form of a Gantt chart, showing information about the calculated dates, target dates, floats, delays, and master milestones for the planning objects. See also the legend below.
