You can open the project a) by opening a dialog window via the Extras → Go to menu or via CTRL + G and entering the ID of the required project or b) by clicking on the link on the ID of the required project in any module. Subsequently, click on the Schedule module tab.
Who is allowed to create tasks?
All users who have access to the Schedule module and modification rights for projects. These are, in PLANTA standard, managers of the respective project, their deputies, or multi-project managers. For further information on rights, please click here.
Create Tasks Individually
Procedure
When opening theSchedulemodule, the following query is displayed:Adopt a schedule?
Answer the confirmation prompt withNo.
Insert an empty task line, e.g. by pressing F4 or clicking on theInsertbutton in the toolbar.
Save and click on the Generate WBS code button below the project bar. As a result, an ID will automatically be generated for the new task in theTaskfield. In PLANTA standard, the breakdown structure codes are used as task IDs in schedules. This structure can be adjusted system-wide if necessary. For more information on this subject, see the "Structure Tasks" topic.
Create further tasks in the same way.
Copy Schedule
Procedure
When you open theSchedulemodule, the following confirmation prompt is displayed:Adopt a schedule?
Confirm the message withYes.
TheCopy Schedule module will be opened at the bottom of the panel.
Select the project the schedule of which is to be copied from the listbox.
Start the copy operation by clicking on the Copy Schedule button.
The schedule which was copied to the project is displayed and can be edited.
Notes
If the confirmation prompt was negated accidentally, theCopy Schedulemodule can be reopened by right-clicking on the project header and selecting the command of the same name.
You can also copy schedules additively via the context menu (by right-clicking and selecting theCopy schedule command).
