Access

• Project panel → Schedule → Click on the button to open the Resource Requests module → Click on the button on a request

• Resource Management → Department Planning → Department Board panel → My Resource Requests → Click on the on a request

• Multi-Project Management → Project Planning → Multi-Project Board panel → Resource Request → Click on the button on a request

Note

• This module is only available if the global Resource requests/approvals setting is activated.
• If there already are resource requests/approvals, the module will still be displayed even if the global Resource requests/approvals is deactivated.

Information

• In this module a simulation of the utilization of the selected resource will be displayed.

• In this utilization, the value which has been entered and saved in the My Resource Requests for the respective resource in the Approved field will be considered as well.

  • If the value is changed and you save again, the display will be refreshed accordingly.

• Project manager and department manager are thus provided with an option to simulate the impact of requests and approvals upfront.

Details

• Which time grid will be used to represent utilization depends on the Resource requests: time grid parameter.

• No capacity adjustment will be carried out. Overloads and other impact which may be caused by requests and approvals will not be indicated.
